Lead Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Development of the data platform architecture and the implementation plan;

• Strategy for data ingestion (managed ELT along with practical alternatives for high-volume data streams);

• Standards for transformation modeling and definitions of metrics;

• Assurance of data quality, reliability, and ongoing monitoring;

• Technical coordination with product, growth, analytics, and leadership teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a senior or lead data engineer;

• Proficient in SQL and Python;

• Experience in production environments with a modern data warehouse stack (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or comparable technologies);

• Practical knowledge of transformation frameworks (dbt, Dataform, SQLMesh, or similar);

• A hands-on approach to orchestration and monitoring;

• Capability to prioritize tasks based on business impact and effectively communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
