This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee the creation and execution of scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows.

• Design and enhance enterprise data infrastructure utilizing Microsoft Fabric.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to convert unclear business requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Simplify complex technical solutions into clear, actionable insights for business partners.

• Create prototypes and lead their transition into production-ready systems.

• Establish and uphold frameworks for data quality, monitoring, and validation.

• Utilize AI/ML tools to improve automation and insights.

• Promote change management and facilitate the adoption of new data solutions.

• Enhance performance for extensive data environments.

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in guiding data engineering best practices.

• Shape data strategy and support the evolving needs of the business.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience in Data Engineering or a related field.

• Proficient in Python, SQL, and Microsoft Fabric.

• Experienced in building ETL/ELT pipelines at scale.

• Familiar with supporting Data Science and analytics use cases.

• Knowledge of AI/ML tools or platforms.

• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced work environment.

• Skilled in managing ambiguity and prioritizing tasks efficiently.

• Keen attention to detail and commitment to data quality.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
