Lead AI Engineer, Technical Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and architect systems.

• Construct them independently.

• Create and deliver end-to-end production RAG pipelines.

• Develop multi-agent systems utilized by actual clients.

• Integrate LLMs into live production workflows (not just prototypes).

• Manage backend systems (FastAPI, multi-tenant, secure).

• Deploy using Docker, CI/CD, and cloud technologies.

• Evaluate and enhance output quality prior to deployment.

• Define the methodology for building AI systems at Bold.

• Establish architectural patterns, prompting standards, and data flows.

• Oversee code quality and reviews — nothing is released without your consent.

• Select tools, frameworks, and infrastructure.

• Guide engineers and elevate the performance standards across the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience with Python in a production environment.

• At least 3 years of experience in building AI/LLM systems for real users.

• Proficiency in LangChain / LangGraph in a production setting (not just tutorials).

• Experience in designing multi-agent systems.

• Solid backend development experience (FastAPI or equivalent).

• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, and cloud deployment.

• Understanding of security fundamentals (authentication, secrets management, isolation).

• Excellent written English (clear, concise, and professional).

• Demonstrated ability to set and uphold engineering standards.

• Advanced to fluent proficiency in English — both written and spoken.
