This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Conduct research and prepare filings and petitions (such as notices of intent to sue, complaints, briefs, declarations, and regulatory petitions);
• Create formal comments in response to proposals from federal, state, and local agencies;
• Assist in interviewing experts;
• Investigate new cases;
• Collaborate with coalitions and partners;
• Advocate orally before federal, state, and local agencies when opportunities arise;
• Observe court arguments and hearings as opportunities present themselves;
• Aid in developing creative media and educational materials for campaigns when opportunities arise;
• Complete additional project work outside of the program as necessary to adapt to changing organizational priorities;
• Perform other job-related responsibilities as assigned.
• Must be a student entering 2L, 3L, or LLM courses in Fall 2026.
• Excellent research and writing abilities.
• Comfort with independent and self-driven work.
• Preferred familiarity with environmental and administrative law.
• Preferred background in environmental or biological studies or related experience.
• A full-time commitment is preferred.
• 403(b) plan.
• Paid sick days accrue at a rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.
