Language Alignment & Resource Partner, Latvian – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Work independently to deliver linguistic quality assurance and create alignment resources.

• Evaluate, annotate, and test AI outputs for grammatical precision, natural flow, and adherence to cultural contexts.

• Serve as a key quality assurance checkpoint during production, actively detecting and rectifying nuanced cultural inaccuracies or awkward expressions in the Latvian language.

• Assess task quality trends and independently generate educational materials and feedback documents to enhance the alignment between AI task results and campaign standards.

• Offer native-level language evaluation during project scaling and provide expert linguistic advice throughout the production process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven work or educational background in linguistics, education, or other disciplines that demand a keen attention to linguistic detail.

• Previous, concrete experience in human data evaluation or annotation.

• Confirmed proficiency in the Latvian language at the C1 or C2 level.

• The capability to effectively convert raw feedback and quality trends into organized, actionable educational resources.

• A thorough approach to language, with the acuity to pinpoint and amend even the most subtle unnatural phrasing in their native language.
