Landman – Lease Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of oil and gas leases.

• Interpret the provisions and obligations outlined in leases.

• Identify clauses that impact development and operational activities.

• Summarize lease terms and create comprehensive lease analysis reports.

• Assess pooling, unitization, depth severance, and continuous development clauses.

• Examine royalty, shut-in, and lease maintenance provisions.

• Provide support to land administration and operational teams.

• Maintain precise lease records and documentation.

• Communicate results and findings to project teams and clients.

• Ensure the accuracy and consistency of lease analysis outputs.

• Experience in analyzing oil and gas leases.

• In-depth understanding of lease provisions and terminology.

• Proficient in interpreting complex contractual language.

• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills.

• Strong written communication skills.

• Capability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.

• Must have eligibility to work permanently in the United States.
