This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +3 more states.
• Develop, manage, and implement the content maintenance process for your designated practice area, including creating and sustaining workflows to guarantee that content is reviewed, updated, and published in line with business priorities and success metrics.
• Keep abreast of current awareness sources, legal advancements, legislation, regulations, agency guidelines, court rulings, and other pertinent legal changes affecting your practice area, while evaluating their impact on existing Practical Guidance content.
• Conduct legal research and editorial responsibilities related to updating current Practical Guidance content, which involves analyzing legal changes, identifying affected resources, determining the scope of updates, and ensuring that content remains accurate, practical, and beneficial for users.
• Write, revise, and edit Practical Guidance content, ensuring that updates are clear, concise, legally accurate, and align with Practical Guidance editorial standards.
• Manage and refresh key customer-facing resources, such as legal development trackers and other frequently used tools, to ensure timely representation of significant developments.
• Oversee and implement Practical Guidance content remediation projects aimed at enhancing the customer experience, including initiatives focused on content quality, usability, navigation, organization, currency, and consistency across the legal field.
• Integrate AI and emerging technologies into editorial workflows, including assessing AI-generated or AI-suggested content updates, identifying suitable use cases, validating legal accuracy, and ensuring that the final output meets editorial and quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including LNNAUK, GPO, and GTO teams, to support content strategy, enhance workflows, improve products, and advance customer-focused initiatives.
• Possess a Juris Doctor degree and a minimum of two years of recent practice experience, or equivalent relevant experience, in a specific legal field.
• Strong capability to monitor and interpret legal and regulatory developments within a particular practice area.
• Experience in conducting legal research and applying insights to practical, user-centered content updates.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with an emphasis on clarity, accuracy, and usability.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple workflows that align with business objectives and deadlines.
• Experience in enhancing content quality, organization, and overall customer experience.
• Familiarity with or enthusiasm for integrating AI and emerging technologies into editorial processes.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high editorial and legal standards.
