Khmer Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise consecutive interpretation services via phone and video between English and Khmer in various settings, including medical, social services, customer service, and financial.

• Enable effective communication between healthcare providers and patients to promote understanding and quality care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Interpretation skills in medical, customer service, social services, and financial calls.

• Familiarity with medical terminology is essential.

• Proficiency in both English and Khmer languages.

• Mandatory remote interpretation experience in both languages.

• Strong communication and listening abilities.

• Relevant certification in medical interpretation or a related discipline.

• Compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Ethernet connection is required (must be connected directly to the router via cable); Wi-Fi is not acceptable.

• A noise-canceling microphone and USB headset are necessary, with accepted brands being: Logitech H390, Jabra GN, Plantronics Blackwire C3220 (Poly), and Microsoft Lifechat LX-6000.

• The browser must be the latest version of Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox.

• Processor should be i5 or higher, from the 6th generation or newer.

• Camera must have a minimum resolution of 1080p.

• Full-time availability is required, working 5 days a week with 2 days off.
