This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Develop and implement engagement strategies for Key Medical Experts and Key Accounts in collaboration with the Regional Sales Director.
• Facilitate a unified ONE BIOGEN strategic engagement model for key accounts within the designated territory.
• Identify emerging opportunities and trends to foster collaborations that enhance patient access and improve care quality.
• Engage regularly with leading KMEs, prescribers, and administrators to assess account needs and uncover potential partnership opportunities.
• Work closely with local sales teams and cross-functional partners, including marketing, managed care, and patient services.
• Enhance account engagement and build Biogen's trust and value among key customers.
• Manage communication pathways between Biogen and healthcare provider offices.
• Recognize issues and formulate timely, compliant recommendations.
• A minimum of 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Ideally, 2+ years of experience in the multiple sclerosis disease state or another related chronic condition.
• Preferred account management experience; navigating complex accounts is critical for success.
• Previous management and/or cross-functional experience is strongly preferred.
• Technical expertise in healthcare reimbursement from both patient and provider perspectives.
• Proven ability to establish effective relationships through mutual respect and trust.
• Comfort in working with ambiguity and without predefined processes and structures.
• Quick identification of issues and the development of timely, compliant recommendations.
• Exceptional presentation skills.
• Ability to convey ideas clearly and succinctly to groups or individuals.
• Advanced understanding of Biogen’s organizational culture.
• Knowledge of current and potential future policies, practices, trends, technologies, and information affecting the business and organization.
• Strong knowledge of regional and national managed care.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with patient privacy laws, including HIPAA and similar state regulations.
• Advanced knowledge of compliance with OIG and regulatory standards.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate complex and ambiguous environments.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• A BS/BA degree is required.
• A valid driver’s license is mandatory; driving is an essential responsibility.
