Junior/Mid AI Legal Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Responsible for ensuring compliance with global laws relevant to AI and e-commerce platforms.

• Manage contracts and assessments as mandated by data protection legislation, including GDPR (DPAs, TIAs, etc.).

• Prepare and maintain necessary compliance documentation, such as internal records related to data protection, AI governance, consumer rights, and similar regulations.

• Conduct risk assessments in accordance with relevant safety legislation.

• Review products and features for compliance with consumer rights and data protection laws.

• Oversee daily compliance tasks, including standard IP issues (e.g., DMCA notices, copycats).

• Update legal terms, including Terms of Service, Privacy Notices, and content policies.

• Monitor, research, and analyze pertinent legal developments, such as the implementation of new laws or regulatory guidelines applicable to EverAI.

⛳️ Requirements

• Jurisprudential education (e.g., Master of Laws, Juris Doctor, or equivalent legal certification).

• 2 to 6 years of experience in a legal counsel role or similar positions.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience specifically dealing with contracts and data protection law.

• Capacity to simplify intricate legal concepts into clear, understandable language.

• Passion for AI technology.
