Junior/Mid AI Legal Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Responsible for ensuring compliance with international laws relevant to AI and e-commerce platforms.

• Managing contracts and assessments as mandated by data protection legislation, including GDPR (DPAs, TIAs, etc.).

• Creating and maintaining necessary compliance documentation, such as internal records regarding data protection, AI governance, consumer rights, and related laws.

• Maintaining an inventory of EverAI’s AI systems in accordance with EU guidelines.

• Conducting risk assessments under relevant safety regulations.

• Performing product and feature evaluations (e.g., focusing on consumer rights and data protection compliance).

• Overseeing daily compliance responsibilities, including standard IP matters (e.g., DMCA notices, copycats).

• Reviewing contracts (NDAs, licenses).

• Updating legal terms (including TOS, privacy notices, and content policies).

• Monitoring, researching, and analyzing pertinent legal developments (e.g., the implications of new laws or regulatory guidance for EverAI).

⛳️ Requirements

• Legal education (e.g., Master's in Law, Juris Doctor, or an equivalent legal certification).

• 2-6 years of experience as legal counsel or in similar roles.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience must involve working with contracts broadly and data protection law specifically.

• Proficiency in translating complex legal concepts into straightforward language.

• A keen interest in AI.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills (fluent in English).

• Goal-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and commitment.

• A proactive mindset—able to balance execution, planning, and strategy in a fast-paced environment.

• Humble and open to learning, as well as receptive to feedback.

• Comfortable reviewing and discussing uncensored AI-generated content and NSFW materials.
