Junior/Mid AI Legal Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Responsible for ensuring compliance with global regulations applicable to AI and e-commerce platforms.

• Management of contracts and assessments required under data protection legislation, including GDPR (Data Processing Agreements, Transfer Impact Assessments, etc.).

• Preparation and maintenance of essential compliance documentation.

• Inventory management of EverAI’s AI systems in accordance with EU guidelines.

• Conducting risk assessments in line with relevant safety regulations.

• Review of products and features, focusing on consumer rights and data protection compliance.

• Overseeing daily compliance activities.

• Handling standard intellectual property matters such as DMCA notices and issues related to copycats.

• Reviewing contracts including Non-Disclosure Agreements and licenses.

• Updating legal terms, including Terms of Service, Privacy Notices, and content policies.

• Monitoring, researching, and analyzing pertinent legal developments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A legal educational background (e.g., Masters of Law, Juris Doctor, or equivalent legal certification).

• 2 to 6 years of experience in legal counsel roles or similar positions.

• At least 2 years of experience specifically in working with contracts and data protection law.

• Ability to simplify complex legal concepts into clear, understandable language.

• A genuine interest in AI.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills (fluent in English).

• Goal-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and commitment.

• Humble attitude - eager to learn and receptive to feedback.

• Comfort in reviewing and discussing uncensored AI-generated content and NSFW material.
