Junior/Mid AI Legal Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Responsible for ensuring compliance with global regulations relevant to AI and e-commerce platforms.

• Managing contracts and assessments required under data protection legislation, including the GDPR.

• Preparing and maintaining essential compliance documentation, including:

• EverAI’s AI systems inventory, adhering to EU guidance.

• Conducting risk assessments in accordance with applicable safety regulations.

• Reviewing products and features, focusing on consumer rights and data protection compliance.

• Managing daily compliance responsibilities:

• Addressing standard IP matters, such as DMCA notices and copycat issues.

• Reviewing contracts, including NDAs and licenses.

• Updating legal terms, including Terms of Service, Privacy Notices, and content policies.

• Tracking, researching, and analyzing relevant legal developments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A legal education background (e.g., Masters of Law, Juris Doctor, or a recognized legal certification).

• 2-6 years of experience as legal counsel or in comparable roles.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience specifically in contracts and data protection law.

• Capability to simplify complex legal concepts into accessible language.

• A genuine interest in AI.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in English.

• Goal-oriented with a sense of ownership and commitment.

• A proactive mindset; we move quickly and need individuals who can manage execution, planning, and strategy effectively.

• Humble and eager to learn, with an openness to feedback.

• Comfortable reviewing and discussing uncensored AI-generated content and NSFW materials.
