Junior/Mid AI Legal Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Responsible for ensuring compliance with global laws relevant to AI and e-commerce platforms.

• Managing contracts and assessments mandated by data protection regulations, including GDPR (Data Processing Agreements, Transfer Impact Assessments, etc.).

• Preparing and maintaining necessary compliance documentation.

• Overseeing daily compliance activities.

• Monitoring, researching, and evaluating significant legal developments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A legal education background (e.g., Master of Laws, Juris Doctor, or a recognized legal certification).

• 2-6 years of experience in a legal counsel role or similar positions.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience specifically focused on contracts and data protection law.

• Ability to simplify complex legal concepts into clear and understandable language.

• A genuine interest in AI.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in English.

• Goal-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and commitment.

• A proactive "doer" mindset — we move quickly and need individuals who can balance execution, planning, and strategy.

• Humble, eager to learn, and open to constructive feedback.

• Comfortable reviewing and discussing uncensored AI-generated content and NSFW material.
