This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +3 more states.
• Assist in the development, coordination, delivery, and assessment of training and educational initiatives for the Elevated Risk Care Management (ERCM) Pilot.
• Evaluate training requirements through interviews, surveys, observations, and other relevant activities.
• Create and update tailored courses, workbooks, facilitator guides, presentations, job aids, exercises, and reference materials.
• Lead or co-facilitate instructor-led, web-based, virtual, and online training sessions.
• Guide exercises, discussions, demonstrations, webinars, and question-and-answer sessions.
• Test training materials and technology, offering technical and instructional support to online participants.
• Assess training effectiveness through evaluations, surveys, knowledge checks, and feedback tools.
• Monitor participation, completion rates, satisfaction, and various training metrics.
• Assist with ERCM operating-model training, encompassing care coordination workflows and suicide prevention procedures.
• Collaborate with clinical subject matter experts (SMEs), Government program leaders, implementation staff, pilot-site representatives, and other stakeholders.
• Handle scheduling, registration, attendance tracking, course coordination, communication, and record management.
• Aid learning management systems, web-based training platforms, content uploads, testing, troubleshooting, and reporting.
• Prepare agendas, presentations, status reports, briefing documents, and training communications.
• Facilitate the transition from the pilot phase to a broader and phased national implementation by creating scalable training resources.
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in education, instructional design, healthcare administration, public health, communications, business administration, clinical discipline, or a related field.
• At least three years of pertinent professional experience in training, education, instructional support, healthcare training, learning and development, or a related discipline.
• Professional clinical experience or a demonstrated understanding of healthcare delivery and clinical workflows.
• Experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or Veterans Health Administration (VHA).
• Knowledge of VA suicide prevention programs and processes, including REACH VET, Risk ID, PDE, SPED, post-event outreach, and Veterans Crisis Line-related requests.
