Junior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain the cloud infrastructure for the Modern Data Platform utilizing Azure services.

• Deploy Azure Landing Zones in accordance with Microsoft's best practices.

• Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to implement and oversee components of the modern data platform.

• Work alongside developers, clients, and stakeholders to establish and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

• Streamline deployment processes using tools such as Azure DevOps, Terraform, BICEP, YAML, and PowerShell.

• Set up and manage systems for monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure optimal availability and dependability.

• Continuously enhance the performance and scalability of our cloud infrastructure.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve issues related to our cloud infrastructure and Data Platform.

• Keep abreast of the latest Azure services, trends, and best practices.

• Document processes, configurations, and best practices.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Core Technical Skills: Azure Cloud technologies, PowerShell, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, YAML Pipelines, Azure Monitor, Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools such as Azure BICEP or Terraform, and an understanding of modern data platform components in Azure.
