Junior Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, test, and maintain software applications and system components.

• Produce clean, efficient, and maintainable code in accordance with development standards.

• Engage in the complete software development lifecycle.

• Identify, debug, and resolve software issues.

• Enhance existing applications by implementing improvements and bug fixes.

• Assist with software deployments and maintenance tasks.

• Document software components, technical specifications, and development workflows.

• Adhere to coding standards, quality assurance practices, and security protocols.

• Take part in code reviews and initiatives for continuous improvement.

• Collaborate closely with software engineers, QA analysts, and technical leads.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, planning meetings, and technical discussions.

• Continuously acquire knowledge of new technologies and contribute ideas for enhancing development processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1+ year of professional experience in software development.

• Proficiency in Frontend, Backend, or Full Stack development.

• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software development best practices.

• Experience with relational databases and APIs.

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a remote team.

• Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (B2+) for professional collaboration.
