Junior Customer Audit and Risk Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Provide assistance in conducting client due diligence and KYC/KYB screening for existing customers across various business units.

• Support the management of updated KYC/KYB packages and handle audit requests.

• Aid in the processing of watch list filtering and negative news alerts generated during customer updates and audits.

• Actively engage in and contribute to projects and other assigned responsibilities.

• Collaborate with diverse teams, including leaders from business units, surveillance, compliance, and technology.

• Conduct research using online tools to verify entities and beneficial owners.

• Recognize potential KYC issues and escalate them to senior team members during the review process.

• Assist colleagues in processing client KYC forms and maintaining updated reference databases with complete records and information.

• Help team members conduct KYC due diligence searches and perform reviews for existing customers of zerohash and its affiliates.

• Support team members in auditing partner customers and shared end customers for potential inconsistencies or other concerns.

• Assist in responding to information requests regarding suitable KYC documentation.

• Identify opportunities for enhancing processing efficiency and automating manual tasks where feasible.

• Escalate information regarding clients identified as High Risk or those with significant adverse information to senior team members.

• Accurately collaborate with senior team members to update risk assessments of existing clients, resolving issues as necessary.

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of policies and procedures for the team.

• Assist with ad-hoc projects and reviews as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• A college degree with strong academic credentials.

• Previous experience in AML/CFT compliance or related FinTech or financial services sectors (particularly B2B2C) is beneficial but not mandatory.

• A hardworking and driven attitude.

• Strong time management abilities and the capability to execute tasks within tight deadlines.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

• Effective interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with colleagues across regions and business units.

• Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail.

• Exceptional time management and organizational skills.

• Data analysis or recordkeeping skills are advantageous.
