Junior Consultor, Desarrollador Oracle APEX

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Develop applications and modules in Oracle APEX according to functional requirements.

• Address assigned development requests, meeting established timelines and quality standards.

• Conduct unit and functional testing prior to deployment in the quality assurance (QA) environment.

• Execute deployments to the QA environment following internal version control procedures.

• Review and validate functional specifications, identifying potential inconsistencies before commencing development.

• Interpret data models (entity-relationship and data dictionaries) to ensure accurate implementation.

• Document developments, changes, and technical decisions to facilitate maintenance and traceability.

• Collaborate effectively with senior consultants and functional teams to resolve questions and ensure quality deliverables.

• Timely report progress, risks, and project blockers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree or professional training in Software Development, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.

• Knowledge of Oracle APEX (experience from academic projects, internships, or work experience is acceptable).

• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.

• Strong programming logic.

• Basic knowledge of software testing (functional tests and test cases).

• Ability to interpret technical documentation and functional specifications.

• Familiarity with relational database management.

• Basic or intermediate level of English is desirable.
