Junior Animator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Support the animation team in producing high-quality animations for various projects.

• Refine motion capture data and enhance rough animations under the mentorship of senior animators.

• Adhere to established pipelines, naming conventions, and practices for file management.

• Ensure consistency in animation quality throughout all tasks and projects.

• Collaborate with producers and supervisors to meet project objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience as an animator within a studio production pipeline (internships or academic projects are acceptable).

• Fundamental understanding of animation principles.

• Experience in animating humanoid characters and props.

• Familiarity with cleaning motion capture data.

• Creative problem-solving skills for animation-related tasks.

• Strong communication abilities, a collaborative spirit, and a positive demeanor.

• Ability to respond to constructive feedback and take direction from leads and supervisors.

• Excellent proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is essential.

• Proficient in industry-standard software, especially Maya and Motion Builder.

• DESIRABLE PLUSES:

• Experience in game title development or film production.

• Knowledge of animation scripts, rigging, and motion capture systems.

• Familiarity with communication tools such as Slack, JIRA, and Confluence.
