Jira Administrator – Agile Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Customization & Configuration: Serve as the main liaison for team-specific Jira inquiries. This encompasses the creation and management of tailored projects, issue types, fields, workflows, and screens.

• Agile Consulting: Provide guidance to teams on the optimal structuring of their boards (Scrum vs. Kanban) tailored to their unique delivery methodologies.

• Metric Stewardship: Assist teams in monitoring and interpreting standard Agile metrics to enhance predictability and performance.

• User Support & Training: Resolve access issues, offer "how-to" assistance for new users, and maintain internal documentation on Jira best practices.

• System Health: Oversee global settings, scheme associations, and marketplace plugins while ensuring the instance remains tidy and efficient.

⛳️ Requirements

• Jira Expertise: Demonstrated experience in administering Jira Software (Cloud or Data Center), including complex workflow transitions and validator/condition logic.

• Agile Proficiency: Comprehensive understanding of Scrum and Kanban ceremonies and artifacts.

• Analytical Mindset: Capability to configure and articulate the significance of: Velocity Charts and Burn-down/up Charts (for Scrum), as well as Cumulative Flow Diagrams (CFD) and Cycle/Lead Time (for Kanban).

• Communication: Outstanding skill in transforming a team's complicated "pain points" into a streamlined technical solution.

• Great to have: Experience with JIRA Cloud.

• Familiarity with Atlassian Intelligence features or automation rules.

• Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP) certification.
