Java/Angular Developer – AI Enabled Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain configuration-driven ETL pipelines utilizing Spring Batch and MyBatis aimed at Snowflake.

• Develop and implement Snowflake stored procedures within a JSON-driven extraction engine.

• Oversee schema migrations through Liquibase; engage in CI/CD pipelines employing Jenkins and Maven.

• Construct and manage Spring Boot REST APIs with stateless security, utilizing JWT (HS512) and LDAP authentication.

• Design and enhance features in an Angular 19 standalone-component application using TypeScript, RxJS, and PrimeNG.

• Write per-repo `copilot-instructions.md` system prompts that incorporate domain context, coding standards, and technical stack knowledge into every AI interaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java 17+ development — including Spring Boot, Spring Batch, or similar frameworks.

• Experience in retirement services, financial services, or wealth management — strong preference for candidates with direct exposure to plan data, recordkeeper relationships, or participant-level data flows.

• Proficient in Angular development with TypeScript, RxJS, and a component library (PrimeNG, Angular Material, or equivalent).

• SQL expertise with a cloud data warehouse (preferably Snowflake).

• Familiarity with MyBatis or a comparable JDBC/ORM mapper.

• Experience in REST API design featuring stateless JWT/LDAP authentication.

• Proficient in Git-based workflows utilizing GitLab or GitHub (branching, MRs, CI/CD).

• Proven hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot or Claude as a development tool — including writing custom agents, instructions, or skills (beyond just using AI for code completion).
