This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +11 more states.
• Design, create, and sustain scalable, API-driven solutions that integrate with enterprise platforms.
• Implement AI-assisted development methodologies to expedite solution delivery while ensuring compliance with enterprise standards and security protocols.
• Transform concepts and ideas into tangible solutions through comprehensive specifications.
• Evaluate and enhance existing business applications and processes, offering recommendations for optimization.
• Identify and resolve issues in the upkeep and support of business applications.
• Collaborate with client and technical teams to outline requirements, troubleshoot problems, and formulate solutions.
• Contribute insights during reviews of new business application designs to guarantee alignment with business goals and technical standards.
• Partner with business and management teams to devise effective plans and processes.
• A minimum of 5 years of practical experience as a Java developer within a Banner Student Information System Environment.
• Strong background in designing and developing applications using Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Groovy/Grails) to support Banner and its extensibility model.
• Proven experience with integrations utilizing APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), and middleware frameworks.
• Familiarity with development tools, including IntelliJ/Eclipse, Git, and SQL Developer.
• Exceptional listening, written, and verbal communication skills are vital for this position.
• Ability to provide services in a consultative manner is crucial.
• Capability to turn concepts and ideas into completed solutions through collaboration with business users of varying levels of experience.
• Proficiency in managing multiple concurrent deliverables across projects within a full lifecycle environment, including production support.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
