Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Convert software requirements into functional and maintainable solutions within the current application frameworks.

• Utilize technical expertise throughout various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.

• Collect precise requirements and collaborate closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Engage in back-end development of Java web applications.

• Interface with multiple APIs in a microservices architecture.

• Create applications using containerized services intended for deployment in Kubernetes and cloud environments.

• Supply documentation and unit tests for completed assignments.

• Maintain active communication with a remote team operating in an agile setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in Java Software Development.

• Must be a U.S. citizen; sponsorship is not available at this time.

• Proficient in Java (preferably with the Spring Framework) or another object-oriented back-end programming language.

• Familiarity with microservices is required.

• Experience in web development and modern JavaScript frameworks is essential.

• Skilled in designing and developing RESTful APIs.

• Competence in writing unit tests.

• Knowledge of git is necessary.
