Java Developer Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement applications utilizing Java and associated technologies.

• Collaborate with teams to create Java web applications.

• Employ JSP and Servlets in web development tasks.

• Participate in project planning and engage in discussions regarding MVC architecture.

• Involve in continuous integration and deployment workflows.

• Create user interfaces using JavaScript and CSS.

• Enhance and maintain existing codebases and applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2.5 years of relevant experience in the field.

• Strong expertise in Core Java: Proficient in Java SE with a comprehensive grasp of object-oriented programming principles.

• Familiarity with Java 8+ features, including lambdas and streams.

• Proficient in JavaServer Pages (JSP) and Servlets for web application development.

• Understanding of the MVC (Model-View-Controller) design pattern.

• Experience with at least one framework: Familiarity with popular Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, or Struts.

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of JavaScript for enhancing web applications.

• Fundamental understanding of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for web design and styling purposes.

• Practical experience in developing and deploying desktop and web-based applications for Windows, MAC, and Linux.

• Knowledge of RESTful web services and APIs.

• Proficiency in using integrated development environments such as NetBeans, Eclipse, or IntelliJ IDEA (preferred).
