ITSM CMDB Administrator – Device42

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the CMDB Owner and Subject Matter Expert.

• Serve as the main point of contact for all CMDB-related projects.

• Deliver proactive and clear communication regarding CMDB initiatives.

• Lead the governance of CMDB to ensure data accuracy and usability.

• Design, implement, and oversee automated processes for CMDB discovery.

• Enhance CMDB maturity by identifying and addressing data quality issues.

• Collaborate with technical teams to establish precise service relationships.

• Develop and support ITSM applications and their integrations.

• Resolve complex issues related to CMDB and associated technologies.

• Create and maintain detailed documentation and governance frameworks.

• Provide training and mentorship to technical teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in CMDB administration and governance.

• Expertise in CMDB architecture, data modeling, CI relationships, and service mapping.

• Strong background with Device42 discovery and data reconciliation.

• Experience in integrating and maintaining CMDB data across ServiceNow and other platforms.

• Knowledge of ITIL processes associated with configuration management.

• Experience in designing CMDB integrations and automation solutions.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and technical documentation tools.

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
