IT Systems Audit Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilizes accounting principles and theories to support management in making well-informed decisions, resolve intricate issues, and assist managers in enhancing performance in alignment with laws, standards, and regulations.

• Oversees a project and offers guidance and direction for specific initiatives or sub-tasks.

• Engages in the planning of engagements and undertakes all tasks assigned by managers.

• Designs, executes, and supervises accounting or audit projects.

• Evaluates and formulates client solutions collaboratively with the team.

• Maintains daily interactions with the client.

• Ensures the timely completion of project-specific tasks within estimated deadlines and budget restrictions while confirming that deliverables meet the PWS standards.

• Manages daily operations and reviews work outputs for completeness and conformity with relevant regulations and client specifications.

• Conducts presentations and facilitates client meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must have IT-II security clearance or possess a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC).

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant business or technical discipline.

• Relevant certification from a recognized national authority.

• Minimum of 6 years of pertinent financial or business experience, including at least 2 years in a government role leading and providing technical direction on audit and/or audit advisory projects.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.).

• Strong analytical and writing skills.

• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations.

• Familiar with OMB Circulars A-123, Management’s Responsibility for Internal Control; A-127, Financial Management Systems; A-134, Financial Accounting Principles and Standards; and the requirements of the Federal Information Systems Controls Audit Manual.

• Experience collaborating with DoD/DLA.

• Proficient in oral presentations with exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
