IT Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Create and uphold well-documented and testable source code.

• Design, develop, and manage full-stack web applications utilizing .NET, Vue, and Angular frameworks.

• Create, develop, and sustain REST API services alongside internal system integrations.

• Design and build Microsoft SQL databases, including basic data modeling, table design, stored procedures, and triggers.

• Develop secure, robust, and transactional applications applying object-oriented design principles and service-oriented architectures.

• Collaborate with Architects and Designers at partner locations to devise viable design solutions.

• Work together with Functional Analysts and Business Analysts to evaluate and enhance functional specifications, ensuring they encompass functional test descriptions and acceptance criteria.

• Contribute to the design, development, troubleshooting, testing, and documentation of selected functions.

• Engage in design sessions and provide insights based on prior experiences and learnings.

• Employ software engineering practices and cutting-edge development methodologies to guarantee superior quality and consistency in technical aspects of the product.

• Aid in the technical advancement of the application by identifying needs, gaps, and new requirements.

• Suggest improvements to enhance operating efficiency and functionality in assigned system areas.

• Integrate systems with industry-specific hardware and software.


⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 2-3 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience.

• Proficiency in C#, .NET/Framework, Web API, HTML, JavaScript, Vue JS, Angular JS, CSS, and T-SQL is required.

• Familiarity with Source Code Management tools (Azure DevOps Git or equivalent) is essential.

• Experience with Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code is mandatory.

• Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit) is preferred.

• Experience with Quasar Framework and Angular Material is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Microsoft IIS deployments is preferred.

• Experience in iOS and Android development is a plus.

• Experience in JAVA development is also preferred.
