IT Security Infrastructure Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee a resilient, scalable security architecture on a global scale for both cloud and on-premise systems.

• Offer technical advice on how to design security devices, networks, applications, and systems that meet the criteria of an intended security posture or state.

• Maintain advanced knowledge of network and system security principles (e.g., Defense in Depth, privilege granularity) and their application within the standard data center and cloud environments.

• Exhibit extensive expertise in modern network security technologies, providing guidance on areas such as network forensics, sandboxing, threat intelligence, intrusion prevention (both network and host-based), vulnerability assessments, DDoS protection, Security Information Management, and cloud security.

• Offer leadership, mentorship, and advisory services to information security, business, and project teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in information management, computer science, or a related technology field is preferred.

• A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in network, application, system, storage, and security architecture, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• Familiarity with the configuration of security controls for Microsoft Azure and Office 365.

• Understanding of the confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA) triad.

• Knowledge of information technology security frameworks.

• Preferably knowledgeable in Carbon Black Protection, Symantec endpoint protection, and security information and events management (SIEM) solutions.

• Capability to work with networked computers and servers.

• Ability to work autonomously and resolve issues effectively.

• Competence in handling confidential and sensitive information with integrity.

• Outstanding oral and written communication skills, including proficiency in presentation.

• Strong organizational capabilities.

• Ability to create and deliver comprehensive, accurate, and constructive written reports.
