IT Security Consultant / Engineer, Network Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop IT security strategies and facilitate the integration of diverse solutions during active operations.

• Provide guidance to clients on IT security at the infrastructure level.

• Link client environments to our Security Operations Center (SOC) platform.

• Investigate atypical activities within the network, files, and log files.

• Coordinate response initiatives with our clients and partners.

• Create plans to technically address clients' needs for improved IT security.

• Deploy security solutions at client locations.

• Formulate strategies and architectures aimed at safeguarding confidential information.

• In-depth technical knowledge of IT security solutions and networking technologies.

• A completed technical degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics.

• Commitment to the ongoing enhancement and development of IT security monitoring.

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to create use cases and playbooks.

• Record security incidents and provide reports on them.

• Recognize and evaluate various threat scenarios.

• Strong focus on performance and results, with resilience and dependability in meeting deadlines.

• Proficient in both German and English languages.
