This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Assume primary responsibility for the upkeep, monitoring, and optimization of highly available, enterprise-level backup solutions (such as Veeam, Commvault, etc.).
β’ Conduct thorough Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring and intricate backup failures, implementing lasting solutions and service enhancements.
β’ Serve as a principal reviewer and executor for service modifications, ensuring strict compliance with ITIL change enablement protocols.
β’ Proactively identify, suggest, and implement opportunities for automation and process improvements to enhance service reliability and efficiency.
β’ Function as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for inquiries from customers and internal teams, effectively translating technical issues into clear business implications.
β’ Over 3 years of experience in managing and supporting a variety of large-scale enterprise backup and recovery solutions within a multi-client or high-volume setting.
β’ Strong proficiency in VMware vSphere environments along with a comprehensive understanding of network storage principles.
β’ Process Acumen: Significant hands-on experience with formal change management, problem management, and crafting high-quality operational and technical documentation.
β’ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot problems across operating systems (with exposure to Windows/Linux), networks, storage, and application layers.
