IT Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Provide audit support for IT Auditing in relation to the Financial Statement Audit by utilizing a defined set of IT General Controls. Engage with client IT department leadership to verify the operation of these controls, gather and evaluate evidence for higher-risk controls, and generate reports that highlight gaps and recommendations.

• Engage in attest and advisory services.

• Conduct controls assessments by leveraging a predefined set of IT General Controls. Collaborate with client IT department leadership to ascertain if the controls are functioning, collect and analyze evidence for higher-risk controls, and prepare reports that outline gaps, risks, and recommendations.

• Perform SOC Reporting by testing IT General Control for design, implementation, and operational effectiveness through the collection of evidence for controls identified and documented by management.

• Execute SOX 404 Internal Audit for IT General Controls by testing the design, implementation, and operational effectiveness of controls as identified and documented by management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in IT General Controls and auditing.

• A background in financial statement audits or accounting is a plus.

• Experience with SOX 404 is necessary.

• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and project management abilities.

• Strong computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite applications.

• Demonstrated exceptional client service and communication skills with the ability to develop and sustain outstanding client relationships.

• Capability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a fast-paced, results-oriented team environment.

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

• IT Security experience or relevant security training is advantageous.

• Relevant certifications such as CPA, CISA, CISM, or CISSP are beneficial.
