Senior Auditor, Licensed CPA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nicaragua.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage audit engagements autonomously, taking full responsibility from start to finish.

• Guide and mentor two junior audit staff members.

• Perform audits for both commercial and non-profit clients across a variety of industries.

• Handle 15-20+ simultaneous audit engagements, with workload varying by season.

• Carry out audit tasks using AuditFile and AuditSight software.

• Work in collaboration with the internal tax team on integrated projects.

• Undertake additional related accounting tasks (e.g., tax-related work).

• Maintain consistent communication with audit leadership (check-ins every other day).

• Stay informed about audit standards, best practices, and new technologies affecting audit processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active CPA license in good standing.

• At least 5+ years of audit experience within a mid-to-large accounting firm.

• Demonstrated capability to lead audit engagements independently.

• Experience in supervising junior team members.

• Strong knowledge of audit methodologies across various sectors.

• Familiarity with audit software (AuditFile or similar tools preferred but not mandatory).

• Proficiency in English.

• High adaptability and eagerness to work within a technology-driven audit setting.
