This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the process for application intake and onboarding of new applications, system enhancements, integrations, and SaaS solutions.

• Act as a central point of coordination between business owners, IT, Information Security, Risk, Compliance, Vendor Management, and IT General Controls teams.

• Serve as a key IAM subject matter expert during application intake, ensuring identity, authentication, authorization, role design, and provisioning requirements are thoroughly defined and documented.

• Assess application requests to identify access control models, user populations, privileged access requirements, service accounts, and integration with enterprise IAM solutions (e.g., SSO, MFA, directory services).

• Evaluate intake submissions for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established governance standards and technology roadmaps.

• Analyze and document ITGC, SDLC, security, privacy, and compliance implications related to application requests.

• Facilitate risk-based triage and direct application requests to the relevant review bodies (e.g., architecture review, security review, data privacy, vendor risk, change management).

• Ensure that application requests comply with systems development lifecycle (SDLC) and change management methodologies, including the documentation of scope, ownership, data classification, and control requirements.

• Maintain intake artifacts such as process flows, intake records, decision logs, and governance documentation.

• Assist in the design, documentation, and implementation of preventive and detective controls related to application onboarding and change activities.

• Help identify gaps, control deficiencies, or process failures concerning application intake and onboarding.

• Monitor intake metrics, SLAs, and KPIs to facilitate continuous improvement and management reporting.

• Collaborate with IT Governance to ensure that application onboarding adheres to SSAE18 SOC2 Type2, NIST, and internal policy requirements.

• Assist with audit and examination activities by providing intake documentation, evidence, and walkthrough support.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of intake processes, templates, tools, and governance workflows.

• Engage in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives related to IT governance and application lifecycle management.

• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree related to the position or equivalent experience is required.

• Preferred experience in a regulated environment (financial services, mortgage, banking, or similar).

• Desired experience in Identity and Access Management.

• Proven ability to analyze and manipulate data from various sources, including Excel, CRMs, and online repositories.

• Capability to create, enhance, and maintain processes within the IT Division (experience in process modeling and procedure development is preferred).

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office is required.

• Preferred familiarity with Entra (Azure AD), Okta, Optro (formerly Audit Board), Fresh Services, Smartsheets, and Jira.

• Understanding of systems development lifecycle and change management concepts.

• Knowledge of governance and regulations applicable to financial institutions, including SSAE16/18, and ITIL/COBIT.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage the completion of assigned tasks.

• Exceptional written and oral communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to distill and summarize extensive information and data for executive summaries.

• Willingness to take ownership of specific processes, projects, and deliverables.

• Customer-centric and results-driven attitude.

• Capability to establish and meet critical deadlines.

• Ability to prioritize multiple activities and manage complex projects simultaneously.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to research and resolve issues.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented; adept at working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Wiki, collaborative cloud-based programs, and third-party software applications.
