IT Administrator – Network, Virtualization, IT Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Position Overview: We are looking for a highly qualified IT Administrator with expertise in Network, Virtualization, and IT Security to become a part of our committed IT team.

• Design, implement, and oversee our network infrastructure, which includes LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.

• Maintain and monitor virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.) to ensure peak performance and efficient resource utilization.

• Implement and manage IT security protocols, encompassing firewalls, anti-virus programs, intrusion detection systems, and security audits.

• Conduct regular security evaluations, vulnerability assessments, and risk analyses to identify and address potential threats.

• Configure and troubleshoot network devices like routers, switches, and access points.

• Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to guarantee compliance with industry best practices and regulatory guidelines.

• Provide technical support and training for end-users, addressing issues related to network, virtualization, and security.

• Collaborate with other IT team members to plan and implement IT projects and initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in IT administration with an emphasis on network management, virtualization, and IT security.

• Comprehensive understanding of networking technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).

• Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or comparable systems.

• Strong grasp of IT security principles, including knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and anti-virus solutions.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure.

• Proficient communication skills in English and German, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
