Issuance Engineering Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Assemble and guide a top-tier engineering team focused on delivering on-chain applications and backend solutions.

• Design and deploy smart contracts across both EVM and non-EVM blockchains (including Solana and others) maintaining high standards for accuracy and security.

• Provide mentorship to engineers while establishing the technical vision for the issuance stack.

• Lead code and design evaluations, elevating the quality standards across the team.

• Prepare codebases for external audits through thorough testing, invariants, AI-assisted reviews, and fuzz testing frameworks.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in shipping production DeFi and backend systems.

• At least 2 years of experience leading engineering teams, or a demonstrable track record indicating a quick adaptation to such roles.

• Established history of deploying and sustaining complex, high-precision on-chain systems in a production environment.

• Experience in developing backend systems using Rust.

• Strong skills in Solidity and EVM development, alongside a solid understanding of the SPL Token program, Token-2022, and Associated Token Accounts.

• Familiarity with cross-chain messaging and bridging protocols such as Wormhole NTT, LayerZero, Hyperlane, or Chainlink CCIP.

• Nice to Have: Previous experience at a rapidly growing digital assets firm or DeFi protocol, ideally one involved with stablecoin issuance, lending, or RWAs.

• Knowledge of security tools and audit processes for both EVM and non-EVM chains (including Solana and others).

• AI-curious and proficient in using modern AI tools to accelerate productivity and improve output quality.

• Contributions to open-source projects related to on-chain applications, SDKs, or developer tools.

• A degree in computer science or a related discipline.
