IP Source Code Reviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Execute projects that involve reviewing source code. Travel to client locations across the US to conduct onsite source code evaluations.

• Provide consultation to attorneys, litigators, and technical experts regarding patent and technical litigations, assisting them in developing and supporting the technical infringement theory in related cases.

• Conduct analysis of patents and software source code, and create comprehensive Evidence of Use reports that demonstrate how the claimed functionalities are executed by the accused software product.

• Deliver timely reports to the project manager and clients, ensuring that assigned tasks are completed within the designated timelines and maintain high quality.

• Assume full responsibility for communication with the client regarding technical deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• A BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is preferred.

• Proficient knowledge of one or more programming languages, such as JAVA, C++, C, C#, Objective-C, Python, or JavaScript is essential.

• Familiarity with web, mobile, and enterprise software products and services is advantageous.

• Understanding of hardware programming languages like Verilog or VHDL is a plus.

• Experience in Software Architecture, application development, and debugging is beneficial.

• Ability to perform software/firmware reverse engineering is a plus.

• Capacity to comprehend complex and cutting-edge technologies and articulate them accurately in a manner that is easy to understand.

• Exceptional content writing abilities along with strong verbal communication skills.
