This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Supervise and coordinate the creation, negotiation, and implementation of clinical trial agreements and budgets for designated studies or portfolios.
β’ Manage contract administration processes, ensuring that deliverables align with quality and timeline expectations.
β’ Oversee the complete site contracting process for assigned studies, including the use of templates, negotiation, and tracking of execution.
β’ Act as the primary escalation point for contract-related issues, proposing solutions that balance the needs of sponsors, sites, and internal stakeholders.
β’ Collaborate with legal, finance, and project teams on contract language, budget assumptions, and risk analysis.
β’ Track contracting timelines and metrics, identify challenges, and implement corrective actions to enhance cycle times.
β’ Provide direction and supervision to Site Contracts Negotiators involved in the same studies or programs.
β’ Aid in the development and refinement of contracting playbooks, templates, and standardized processes.
β’ A bachelor's degree in law, business, life sciences, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
β’ Significant experience in clinical site contracting or similar contract negotiation roles within a CRO, pharmaceutical company, or healthcare setting.
β’ Solid understanding of clinical trial agreements, budget frameworks, and essential legal and compliance factors.
β’ Exceptional negotiation, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
β’ Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple studies and priorities effectively.
β’ A collaborative approach with experience in guiding or coordinating the efforts of others.
β’ Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is located.
