This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Conduct investigations and analyses of current conditions or historical occurrences in residential, commercial, industrial, and public settings.
• Assess and manage exposure to health risks such as noise, microbial pollutants, fire emissions, mold, workplace incidents, and other areas based on qualifications.
• Utilize sampling and testing instruments effectively.
• Engage with clients regarding project objectives, timelines, and budgets.
• Create both oral and written reports that detail your findings, analyses, and conclusions.
• You may be asked to provide testimony during depositions and/or trials.
• Local travel will be required, with occasional overnight assignments.
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.
• 5 to 10 years of pertinent work experience.
• Must hold certification as an Industrial Hygienist.
• Strong regulatory background, particularly in relation to Federal and/or state OSHA regulations.
• The ideal candidate should have knowledge of or experience in building sciences.
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to articulate complex concepts to a diverse audience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Capability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to wear a tight-fitting respirator.
