This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Drive business expansion within the designated territory by engaging with both new and existing clients.
• Act as the primary contact for inventory management solutions.
• Conduct inventory audits, source and order products, and oversee the implementation of new inventory solutions.
• Manage and coordinate inventory disposition at customer locations.
• Minimize excess stock, obsolete stock, and discontinued inventory.
• Audit and restock inventory to uphold optimal stock levels.
• Address customer inquiries related to inventory adjustments and discrepancies.
• Ensure adherence to internal control protocols.
• Implement and establish new inventory management solutions at customer sites.
• Design inventory solutions, receive products, and organize and label finished goods.
• Partner with cross-functional sales teams as the inventory solutions expert.
• Provide training for new hires, vendors, customers, and other departments.
• Communicate market conditions and issues to customers and leadership.
• Analyze data to resolve missing, incomplete, inconsistent, or anomalous information.
• Applicants must reside in the specified state(s), as indicated in the job-board location, specifically Tennessee, United States.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred.
• Typically requires a BS/BA in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory auditing or warehouse operations.
• Generally 2–5 years of experience in a related field, or an MS/MA with 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook is essential.
• Certification may be required in certain areas.
• Capability to conduct inventory audits, replenishment, customer training, and coordination of inventory projects.
• Ability to perform intermittent physical activities, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and handling heavy or awkward materials/equipment weighing over 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel overnight, typically less than 10% of the time.
