Inventory Solutions Specialist – VMI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Contribute to annual sales and profitability goals through conducting inventory audits, replenishment efforts, and training customers on inventory management programs.

• Execute project management responsibilities and coordinate inventory initiatives between internal teams and external clients.

• Foster business growth with both new and existing clients by acting as the primary contact for inventory-managed solutions.

• Carry out inventory audits, procure products, and oversee the project management of new inventory solutions.

• Manage and facilitate the disposition of inventory at customer locations.

• Conduct audits and replenish inventory, addressing customer issues related to adjustments and discrepancies, while ensuring compliance with internal control protocols.

• Support the implementation and setup of inventory-managed solutions, which includes designing systems, receiving products, and organizing and labeling finished goods.

• Collaborate with cross-functional sales teams as the subject matter expert for inventory solution tasks.

• Provide training for new hires, vendors, customers, and other departments.

• Communicate market conditions and concerns to customers and leadership.

• Analyze data to resolve issues related to missing, incomplete, inconsistent, or anomalous information.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a resident of the specified state, Florida.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, a related field, or a comparable discipline.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory auditing, warehouse operations, or a related area.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

• Certification may be necessary in certain areas.

• Capability to conduct data analysis and resolve issues related to missing, incomplete, inconsistent, or anomalous information.

• Ability to walk, stand, stoop, climb, lift, and handle material or equipment weighing over 50 pounds.

• Willingness to travel overnight for less than 10% of the time.
