Interpreter, Polish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage on-demand calls and facilitate communication between Polish and English speakers.

• Respond promptly to video and audio interpreting requests.

• Engage in online training sessions for video and audio interpretation.

• Provide interpretation services through video while efficiently logging data.

• Accurately convey concepts and meanings in accordance with interpretation protocols.

• Articulate clearly in both languages, using appropriate pronunciation and courteous expressions.

• Maintain a professional attitude throughout all interpreting sessions.

• Stay composed during interpreting sessions, particularly in emergency situations.

• Adhere to client guidelines to meet client expectations for Limited English Proficient (LEP) individuals.

• Proficiency in Polish and English along with an understanding of related cultural nuances.

• Capability to provide cultural insight and recognize regional and accent variations.

• Strong listening, retention, and note-taking abilities.

• Ability to focus, remain detached from discussions, and maintain neutrality and objectivity at all times.

• Educational background or work experience in language-related fields is preferred.

• Must be adaptable to any advancements in LLS technology.

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old.

• Legally permitted to work in the United States.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Proficiency in reading and writing the specified languages is highly preferred.
