Internship – Threat Hunter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Support senior hunters in conducting searches across endpoints and networks to uncover hidden threats, unusual activities, and stealthy malware.

• Analyze and review security logs and telemetry to detect anomalies or potential indicators of compromise (IOCs).

• Assist in the creation, testing, and documentation of new threat detection rules to enhance the company's security visibility.

• Stay informed about significant global cyber threats and aid in mapping attacker Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).

• Contribute to the evaluation of search results, distinguish benign events from genuine threats, and prepare technical reports for senior analysts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Information Technology.

• Fundamental understanding of networking principles, operating systems (Windows, Linux, or macOS), and common cyber-attack techniques.

• Knowledge of scripting languages (such as Python) and basic query languages.

• Strong analytical skills, curiosity, a desire to learn, and the capability to articulate technical findings.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK is highly preferred.
