This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Assist in the complete preparation of US income tax returns for Americans residing abroad.
• Work in conjunction with our Tax Team to guarantee that all tax assignments adhere to the firm's standards and timelines.
• Manage international tax documents including Form 2555, Form 1116, and Form 8833.
• Support complex reporting demands such as Forms 5471, 8865, 8858, 3520, and 8621.
• Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients to collect necessary documentation and provide updates on progress.
• Engage in team meetings and contribute to the firm’s growing knowledge of changing expat tax regulations.
• Adhere to established production schedules to ensure timely submissions and client satisfaction.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
• Experience: At least 2 years of practical experience specifically in expat tax preparation.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Mindset: A proactive, self-driven attitude with a readiness to collaborate within a remote team.
• Technical Skill: Proficiency in international tax forms and a keen attention to detail.
• Nice to Have: Actively pursuing or currently holding a US CPA license or IRS Enrolled Agent designation.
• Nice to Have: Advanced expertise with complex international forms (e.g., Form 5471 or Form 8621).
