This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Drive sales and establish robust relationships with producers to enhance revenue and achieve sales targets.
• Actively reach out to agents and recruit new ones to expand a book of business.
• Cultivate working relationships with producers through innovative sales ideas, marketing initiatives, illustrations, and optimal use of company resources.
• Foster connections with key producers to discuss intricate sales strategies, marketing efforts, and product details.
• Sustain and elevate team sales objectives in alignment with sales resources.
• Initiate proactive calls to assigned agents to enhance territory development.
• Generate new business by attracting new agents and expanding existing agent groups.
• Collaborate with sales resources in producer development initiatives.
• Engage with lower-producing agents in a sales capacity.
• Maintain supportive relationships with sales and operations teams, assigned agents, and solution centers.
• Acquire expert knowledge of products, carriers, and company resources.
• Coordinate with sales teams and producers on complex and advanced illustrations, offering creative consultation.
• Utilize the company's client management system to oversee the sales process.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities.
• Capability to deliver outstanding customer service to both internal and external clients.
• Proficient in time management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Experience with PCs in a Windows environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to analyze issues and devise effective solutions.
• Competence in communicating with individuals across all organizational levels.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and relevant work experience.
• Excellent telephone etiquette skills.
• Demonstrated maturity, competitiveness, and a strong work ethic.
• Knowledge of the insurance sector, life and related insurance products, and sales methodologies.
• Basic understanding of insurance underwriting.
• A minimum of two years of experience in the life insurance industry, including at least one year in a sales support capacity.
• Series 6 and state insurance licenses are preferred.
• Familiarity with sales concepts, illustrations, and the underwriting process is preferred.
