Internal Fund Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assume a pivotal role in overseeing, monitoring, and reporting on a complex fund of funds.

• Act as the main coordinator among third-party fund administrators and auditors.

• Integrate operations, valuation oversight, and investment support essential for maintaining the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of fund reporting.

• Ensure that fund valuations are both accurate and prepared in line with valuation policies.

• Guarantee that investor reporting is dependable and consistent.

• Provide support for investment decisions with high-quality data.

• Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors.

• Manage the annual audit process across fund entities.

• Prepare and uphold quarterly shadow valuations for each fund.

• Independently monitor and reconcile capital activities, NAV movements, and performance metrics.

• Generate quarterly fund monitoring and oversight reports for the Investment Committee.

• Reconcile data across internal systems, custodians, and underlying fund reports.

• Improve internal processes for valuation consistency, reconciliation workflows, and reporting efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in:

• private equity / private credit / investment operations.

• fund administration.

• a fund of funds platform is preferred.

• Knowledge of:

• capital call / distribution mechanics.

• private equity and alternative structures.

• fund performance metrics (IRR, MOIC, DPI).

• Proficiency in:

• shadow accounting / shadow NAVs.

• reconciliation processes.

• Advanced Excel skills are mandatory.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Capability to:

• independently identify and resolve discrepancies.

• synthesize data into actionable insights.

• Excellent and concise communication skills.

• Familiarity with systems such as:

• Orion, Black Diamond, Addepar, Arch, or similar platforms.

• Exposure to:

• Direct private investments.

• Secondaries.

• Co-investments.
