This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Scouting and researching startups: You uncover startups that are often overlooked — particularly in rural regions and outside of conventional platforms.
• You cultivate an intuition for identifying where dynamic founding teams are emerging.
• Conduct active research utilizing LinkedIn, local networks, universities, funding initiatives, and events.
• Identify appropriate startups that align with our program's criteria.
• Communication and relationship development: You serve as one of Founders Bay's initial points of contact for numerous founders.
• You proactively initiate outreach, engage in preliminary discussions, and assist them throughout the application process.
• Initial outreach through email, LinkedIn, and other channels — including cold outreach.
• Conduct initial calls and qualification interviews with founding teams.
• Build and nurture relationships with relevant founder communities and local networks.
• Deal flow management and screening: You organize incoming applications and help monitor who aligns, who doesn’t, and the reasons behind it.
• Evaluate and pre-qualify incoming applications based on established criteria.
• Maintain and document information in the CRM (Notion / Airtable).
• Collaborate with us on automation initiatives.
• We aim to progressively automate the deal flow process with AI — and you will play a key role in that development.
• You are currently enrolled at a university as a registered student and/or have gained initial experience in high-growth startups or other high-performance sectors such as strategy consulting, investment banking, or venture capital.
• You possess a strong interest in impact trends, innovation, and technology.
• Exceptional communication skills and a willingness to engage with unfamiliar individuals — even without prior introductions.
• You enjoy working autonomously and are highly focused on achieving results.
• Familiarity with tools such as Claude, Perplexity, Make / n8n, Notion, and Slack.
• A passion for impact topics, innovation, and rural development is a plus.
• You will contribute to the creation of something meaningful — playing a role in shaping the next generation of impact startups.
