Intern – Environmental Campaigns, Web and Digital Content

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Compose articles and updates for our websites focusing on priority issues and topics to enhance our online presence.

• Draft, edit, and proofread emails that engage thousands of our supporters, motivating them to take action on our campaigns and contribute to our programs.

• Share this content through social media platforms.

• Acquire knowledge of best practices in advocacy writing, fundraising, and search engine optimization (SEO).

• You aspire to make a positive impact in the world. You have experience volunteering or working for a cause you are passionate about.

• You possess writing skills. You have experience writing for publication, such as contributing to a campus newspaper, creating newsletters and emails for a volunteer group, or similar relevant experience.

• You are creative. You can identify or define problems, brainstorm solutions, make decisions on a course of action, and execute them. You can think on your feet and handle unexpected challenges with confidence.

• You are intelligent. You can comprehend complex issues, write clearly and persuasively, and juggle multiple projects effectively.

• You are responsible. You honor goals and meet deadlines.

• While not mandatory, if you have experience in graphic design and layout, photography, video editing, HTML or CSS, or any other distinctive creative skills, we would love to hear about it.
