Intermediate Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop backend application components, including FHIR operations, primarily utilizing Java and associated technologies.

• Maintain and enhance the core product code, emphasizing quality, performance, and maintainability.

• Engage in code reviews, comply with team coding standards, and assist in refining development practices.

• Evaluate requirements and suggest technical solutions throughout different phases of development.

• Construct and refine proof-of-concept integrations.

• Diagnose and resolve issues reported by customers or discovered during testing.

• Investigate relevant technologies and share insights with the team.

• Develop and preserve technical documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

• Over 4 years of professional experience in backend development.

• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring; familiarity with REST APIs, SQL, and Git.

• Experience in end-to-end feature development and unit testing methodologies.

• Capability to work independently on designated tasks while effectively collaborating within a team.

• Comfort in navigating ambiguity and contributing to technical problem-solving.

• Proven experience in creating and maintaining clear technical documentation.

• Knowledge or experience in healthcare, HL7, or FHIR is beneficial.

• Familiarity with Apache Camel and developing robust integration patterns to facilitate seamless data exchange across diverse systems.
