This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.
• Oversee comprehensive integration strategy and implementation from initial readiness to complete operational and cultural alignment.
• Act as the main liaison among leadership, functional teams, and the organization being acquired.
• Identify and address cultural, communicative, and procedural discrepancies between the merging teams.
• Create and monitor integration roadmaps that include milestones, responsible parties, and success indicators across HR, operations, systems, and cultural workstreams.
• Collaborate with People/HR, Finance, IT, and business-unit leaders to synchronize policies, tools, reporting structures, and operational methods.
• Highlight risks and obstacles early, proposing practical solutions.
• Develop and sustain integration documentation, playbooks, and repositories for lessons learned.
• Assist with due diligence and pre-acquisition planning for forthcoming acquisitions.
• Lead workshops and regular check-ins to ensure alignment, transparency, and accountability.
• Provide regular updates on integration progress and risks to leadership.
• Proficient in English with outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• At ease presenting to senior leadership.
• Proven experience collaborating with individuals and teams from diverse cultures and countries.
• Authentic cross-cultural competence.
• History of successfully delivering international, cross-border, or multi-site projects.
• Previous experience in M&A integration, post-merger integration, or related change management/transformation initiatives.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management.
• Systematic and organized methodology for roadmaps, action tracking, and accountability.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to changing priorities.
• Willingness and capability to travel as necessary across various locations.
• Knowledge of additional languages beyond English is an advantage.
• Experience in technology, software, or services is beneficial.
• Background in consulting, corporate development, or focused M&A/integration is a plus.
• Familiarity with change management frameworks and the design of integration playbooks is a plus.
